The Centennial Office was created to assist in the planning and execution of UTEP’s 100th anniversary. The members of the Centennial Office worked behind-the-scenes to ensure the celebration was a success for everyone and to showcase UTEP during its milestone year. This included working with both the UTEP and El Paso communities, promoting all Centennial events through our website and social media, archiving the celebration for future generations, and researching UTEP’s history for the UTEP Encyclopedia.

By all accounts, we had a magnificent year. We engaged hundreds of thousands of people through all of our events, both on campus and within the El Paso community. We set the bar very high for future anniversary celebrations!

The Centennial Office will close after Dec. 31, but on behalf of the staff, thank you for your support and for making UTEP’s Centennial Year a truly memorable one. We could not have done it without you.

With gratitude,
