Miner Morning Mania Tradition Continues

What: UTEP’s Miner Morning Mania

When: 5 to 8 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8

Where: P-9 parking lot at the north end of Sun Bowl Stadium

The media is invited to attend UTEP’s Miner Morning Mania, which generates excitement among alumni and students for UTEP’s Homecoming football game against Old Dominion on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 6 p.m.

This early morning event will feature performances by the UTEP Marching Miner Regiment, Golddiggers, cheerleaders, and an appearance by Paydirt Pete. UTEP student organizations will be present to show their spirit and engage in fun activities.

Interviews with Richard Daniel, Ph.D., executive director of UTEP Alumni Relations; Willarda Edwards, M.D., president of the UTEP Alumni Association Executive Board; Daniel Veale, director of marketing and promotions for UTEP Athletics; and Marissa Rodriguez and Karen Aguilar with the UTEP Student Government Association will be available throughout the morning.
