Who: Chase Bank, Paydirt Pete and UTEP’s Centennial Office
When: 9 a.m. Friday, June 6

In honor of The University of Texas at El Paso’s Centennial year, Chase Bank will join the University and launch its own Orange Friday campaign.

UTEP 2014 Commission members Russ Vandenberg and Joseph Mullings initiated the idea as a way to encourage community members to participate in the University’s 100-year celebration.

Media will have the opportunity to take photographs and video of 20-25 Chase employees dressed in Miner Orange and showing their University pride.
Interviews will be facilitated on site.

The UTEP Student Government Association established the Orange Friday tradition in fall 2011. The goal has been to enhance the pride and camaraderie among Miner students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the University.
