UTEP and El Paso International Airport to Unveil Centennial Exhibit

 

What: UTEP and El Paso International Airport will unveil an exhibit in honor of UTEP’s Centennial Celebration

When: 1:30 p.m., Friday, Jan. 24

Where: El Paso International Airport lobby, between the check-in counters and baggage claim

As part of its Centennial Celebration in 2014, The University of Texas at El Paso will unveil a unique exhibit at the El Paso International Airport on the University’s history and impact during its first 100 years. The exhibit also includes a timeline of airport history.

UTEP President Diana Natalicio and El Paso International Airport Director of Aviation Monica Lombraña will participate in the opening event.

The exhibit will be located in the airport lobby area, between the check-in counters and baggage claim, and will remain on display throughout 2014.

Nearly 3 million travelers pass through the El Paso International Airport annually.
