El Paso is declared an ideal location for a mining school (1903), the campus radio station begins broadcasting (1942), and the Hilton Garden Inn celebrates its Grand Opening (2007).

Recent Activities

UTEP Athletics began the Centennial year with a Centennial Birthday Party for Students before the men’s basketball game and a half time celebration with exciting surprises for fans.

Special presentations to members of the Eastside Business Alliance and to high school students.
